OUR HISTORY
Educare Private School was founded by Mrs. Alicia Smith Temlong on the 29tth January, 1990. She hails from St Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands and possesses a Master’s in Education from Tuskegee University, Alabama USA. Her motivation is for the average child to be educated and cared for academically, spiritually, physically, mentally and socially in order to into the society and be productive.
The school is located along Yakubu Gowon way, Miango Junction, by Flower Garden, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, Nigeria. The environment is serene, secured, aesthetic and conducive for learning.
Educare Private School started its operation with three (3) classes; one arm of kindergarten, Nursery one and Primary One with a pupil population of thirteen (13) and a staff strength of five (5) one male and four females. Like a mustard seed, it has grown into its full capacity and is still growing; from crèche to primary six; and has graduated many pupils spread around the globe who are doing extremely well in their areas of endeavours.
Educare Private is a member of the Plateau State Private School Association and a corresponding partner with several schools in the North-Eastern part of the United States of America

GOALS AND OBJETIVES
The goals and objectives of Educare Private School are:
Educare is aimed at building and raising a generation of children that are independent and skilful by encouraging and promoting entrepreneurship.
EPS seeks to educate and care for all children

EPS seeks to build a solid educational foundation for the total Development of the child.
Educare seeks to raise up all the children in the fear of God.
We seek to foster relationships where there is trust, respect , understanding, support and love for one another.
We also seek to develop capacity in both pupils and staff members For effective service to God and humanity.
Educare seeks to provide a variety of curricular, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities that make learning exciting.
Educare seeks to widen the scope and horizon of her pupils by Observing and re-enacting historical days and events.
Educare aims at providing children that are morally, spiritually and academically sound With God on our side,we will continue to make our good better and our better best.
ADMINISTRATION
Educare Private School has a wonderful management team comprised of the Head of Personnel, The Administrator, Accountants, and The Head Supervisor. This structure is aimed at achieving productivity, continuity and effectiveness.
