Educare Private School was founded by Mrs. Alicia Smith Temlong on the 29th January, 1990. She hails from St Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands and possesses a Master’s in Education from Tuskegee University, Alabama USA. Her motivation is for the average child to be educated and cared for academically, spiritually, physically, mentally and socially in order to into the society and be productive.
The school is located along Yakubu Gowon way, Miango Junction, by Flower Garden, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, Nigeria. The environment is serene, secured, aesthetic and conducive for learning.
Educare Private School started its operation with three (3) classes; one arm of kindergarten, Nursery one and Primary One with a pupil population of thirteen (13) and a staff strength of five (5) one male and four females. Like a mustard seed, it has grown into its full capacity and is still growing; from crèche to primary six; and has graduated many pupils spread around the globe who are doing extremely well in their areas of endeavours.
Educare Private is a member of the Plateau State Private School Association and a corresponding partner with several schools in the North-Eastern part of the United States of America
